“I got involved with Salama at the age of 7, and began to participate in their performing arts program. At Salama I developed my music, percussion and stage presence skills. In addition to the performing arts programming, I found an environment in which I was challenged to live out my faith by learning to accept other people for who they are and I learned how to forgive others. More recently through the work of The Salama Institute, I have been able to improve in my academics particularly in the areas of math and writing. I have just graduated from high school and been accepted to attend Berklee College of Music where I will be training in the field of music management. Salama is a place where young people can experience individualized attention and well rounded programming that will equip them for success.”

“That they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. They shall build up the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former devastations; they shall repair the ruined cities." Is. 61:3-4
