Salama Volunteers contribute thousands of hours each year in helping Nashville build stronger children, stronger families and stronger communities. Whether you want to help improve their overall education, support them as they grow into adults, assist with development in the performing and visual arts, create a welcoming environment or simply make a difference in someones life, Salama has a wide variety of volunteer opportunities to match your passion, skills and talents.

Salama volunteer needs are categorized in three opportunities.

One time events

             Volunteer talents
             On call – as needed
            Special Salama needs – calls for in-kind donations

Ongoing events

             Tutoring, homework assistants, teachers’ assistants, end of the month events.
